Dear friendsIn wishing each and every one of you a peaceful Christmas and a new year full of hope, I want to share my simple and perhaps trivial thoughts...
...the events of recent years, the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, have dealt a severe blow to the whole of humanity and pushed our country's strategic asset into the abyss: tourism...
...and yet as Nelson Mandela said "always seems impossible until you have done it"in recent months our industry has done the impossible: a increase of 20/30% driving the ailing national economy in every other sector, but it was not enough...
...we need 'courageous people' to move forward, women and men who are not afraid to express their ideas, of young people who know how to commit themselves, of anyone who can make their skills available.
The courage of experimenting with new forms of tourism environmentally sustainable, ecolodge resorts, glamping, proximity travel and food and wine tourism will be the new frontiers to be reached...
...it is important to use wisely time by training our young people with orientation and mentoring that they may love what they do as much and more than we do.
And those who, like me, feel satisfied because they can count on the support of their family, can look at raising three children committed to pursuing their goals with dedication and passioncannot avoid trying to help the less fortunate...
Love...
...love, be for each of us the fundamental motor. For the human heart, love is more natural than hate, let us love one another and not only at Christmas.
