Despite the qualifying adjective, the Virtual Assistant is a flesh-and-blood person.
The Virtual Assistant, or VA, is a freelancer ready to provide manager and entrepreneurs the skills acquired over the years. Professional experience generally gained in the private sector spans one of the following areas:
- general secretariat
- management secretariat
- accounting
- back office
- customer service
- hotel front/back office
Why did I decide to use a VA? Mainly because of the need to delegate certain tasks and thus gain time. Time that I can then invest in developing my business and devote to my family, my passions, sport.
The advantages of having a Virtual Assistant
The VA is a discreet presence that 'frees' the client from work duties without, however, exerting recruitment obligations. This is due to the fact that the VA only bills for the time actually spent performing the specific task, without breaks.
This results in great flexibility, allowing the VA to follow several projects at the same time, organising work according to deadlines and managing its time accordingly.
He is familiar with applications and tools to measure time, organise his diary and archive, and even share his work (dispelling the myth 'if I see you, I control you'). All remotely, all digitally.
Little known until a few years ago in Italy, the figure of the VA is becoming established thanks to good trainers certifying its capabilities and to realities such as YOUR Assistant acting as a catalyst and promoter, facilitating the matching of supply and demand.
A meeting that satisfies the client - relieved in the management of tasks and time - and gratifies the VA, who puts her experience to good use and becomes an entrepreneur herself.
Working in 'close digital contact' with Barbara for several months now and I appreciate her seriousness, discretion and creativity. Above all, I appreciate the great energy she puts into every project that my volcanic mind continually creates and that hers, fortunately for me, knows how to follow.
