"Get the Best" is the motto of the third edition of Padel Day, organised with the friends of MHR, at Villa Pamphili. A day dedicated to sport, with managers from the Travel & Hospitality sector animating the tournament, wearing the special active-dry fabric T-shirt created for the occasion.

To live sport to the full, facing the challenge on the field with the same energy needed for everyday challenges, in life as in work. Seeking, in the confrontation with the opponent, also an opportunity to confront oneself, always striving to bring out the best.

From Padel Day to Padel Philosophy

Year after year, this event is also a way to rediscover the PADEL Philosophywith the name of the sport encapsulating, in the two five letters, a professional philosophy:

P as Potential: each one of us is, deep down, a rough diamond to be chiselled. It is that small piece of carbon that, little by little, takes shape thanks to those who know how to work it, smoothing its sides until obtaining a shining stone. The jeweller is the leader who makes his collaborators grow, knowing how to draw from each of them that aspect that makes the difference and makes the team a precious parure.

A as Adaptation: one does not continue if one is unable to adapt. In the crisis there is opportunity, claimed Albert Einstein, but there are still many negative thinkers, those who see a problem in every opportunity, standing still. A for adaptability within the group, to be able to manage the diversity and characteristics of each component and to know how to merge them, creating a wealth of values.

D as Determination: the path in the world of hospitality is marked by effort and sacrifice. Behind every smile there is a story, behind every person there are other people, families, with joys and difficulties...The leader knows that Motivation is the main engine that fuels Determination. Without it, the team is just a collection of people moving in space and time, with the sole purpose of carrying out orders Without motivation there is no growth, but flattening.

E as Experience: one cannot improvise oneself as a Leader even out of the most prestigious university. It is true that some people are born leaders, but it is experience that shapes the person in the ability to make decisions for the good of the company and the group. From the role of responsibility in the department to that of company manager, the leader grows over the years and on experience acquires authority. To return to the figure of the diamond, in the rough, experience is a bit like the jeweller's chisel.

L as Leadership: more than a word, Leadership is a concept that encompasses many. Duty, responsibility, growth, achievement, success. The true Leader lives experiences on himself and then passes them on to others. He is the first to observe duties, because he believes in the power of example; he knows the sense of responsibility towards the people entrusted to his leadership; he grows with the group and promotes the growth of his co-workers, free of envy and jealousy; he enjoys the realisation of the goals achieved by the group and knows how to share the success Being a Leader is not easy, but it is the most beautiful experience that professional life can offer.
